Judith (Judy) Ann Suda (nee Lapierre)

After a valiant and courageous battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts we announce Judy’s passing on December 6, 2022 at the age of 68.

Judy is survived by her husband of over 45 years, best friend and soulmate, Richard (Rick), parents Gerald and Janet Lapierre, brothers Tom (Barb), Steven and sister Cathy (Dave) Eveleigh.

She will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews Tyler (Lorna), Caitlin (Matt), Jeff, Jeremy, Jordan (Kim) and Katrina; great nieces and great nephew Brooklynn, Jalen and Katie Anne; brother-in-law Stan (Mamie); and niece-in-laws Jannette, Marianne (Larry) and Kathleen; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by her grandparents Joseph Lapierre & Geraldine (Art) Barton and James & Eleanor McCallum, father/mother-in-law Stan & Olga, sister/brother-in-laws Nellie (Walter) and Dian, and her beloved felines Tangie, Topo, Matty, Sasha, Luke and Snowy.

Judy loved to shop, read, shop, travel, and yes, shop. She was fortunate to travel most of the world, had a huge heart, a beautiful smile, a flair for decorating, was a perfectionist with an exceptional eye to detail, and the best gift giver.

Thank you to all the caregivers for providing exceptional care and keeping Judy as comfortable as possible! She commented frequently how nice everyone was to her.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Georgetown Hospital, Credit Valley Hospital (Cancer Care Unit) or Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
