Judith (Judy) Mary Sherine Loveless, aged 77, of Georgetown, Ontario, passed away and took her first steps into her eternal home on August 11, 2020 joining her loving husband, Art (2013). She spent her last month in Southampton in the care of her loving daughter Sherine. She is greatly missed by her children; Kelvin (Shelley), Sherine (Lynn) and Edward (Ashley), and her grandchildren; Bethany, Jocelyn, Aaron, Luke, Ada, William, Adelaide, Bea and SylvieJoy. We are grateful for the time we could have with her to say our farewells. Judy was born in India, to missionary parents, Dennis and Gladys Clark. She was the loving older sister to Paul (Adrianna), Martyn (Marg) and Michael (Rithea), always watching out for her brothers, both at home and at boarding school. At the age of 15, she immigrated to Canada to complete her high school education, and then went on to study nursing. She had a short nursing career, and then retired to raise her family. After a three year stint in Australia, she and Art settled in Limehouse, where they built their own home. For 40 years this home was a centre of hospitality. Judy was actively involved in her church, Maple Avenue Baptist Church, and the Georgetown District Christian School community. After Art passed away, Judy moved to Georgetown, once again opening her home to many. Judy is well remembered for her Godly character, wisdom, creativity, wonderful hospitality and beautiful gardens. Mum always loved the story of Pilgrim's Progress and spoke with great eagerness of soon being able to cross over to the 'Celestial City' (Heaven). Mum was always happy to share her faith with others, and if you would like to hear it in her own words you can do so here: https://youtu.be/nHV97VaO4MA A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday August 22nd at 11am at Maple Avenue Baptist Church (177 Maple Ave, Georgetown, ON).
