Golden, Joyce Ruth -
Peacefully, on Wednesday October 29, 2025 at Hospice Vaughan, Woodbridge. Joyce, at the age of 91, wife of the late James Golden (1992). Loving mother of Janice (the late Louis) Evans and the late Michael and Sharon. Loved grandma of John (Luciana) and Andrew (Ewa). Joyce was predeceased by her sister Doris Presswood and by her brothers Ken and Jim Hurren. Joyce was a very independent, quiet and private person and enjoyed baseball, golf, bowling and lawn bowling. Joyce will be forever remembered for always cheering on her beloved "Toronto Blue Jays".
A special thanks to Marisa from Halton Health Care at Cote Terrace, Dr. Hanna and care team at Hospice Vaughan, Dr. Razvi and the palliative care team from Acclaim Health and the PSW's from St. Elizabeth.
A graveside service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 12 noon.
Memorial contributions to Hospice Vaughan or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
