Cruickshank, Joyce (nee Yeats) - Suddenly, at the age of 71, due to complications after a massive stroke, on Tuesday August 20, 2013, at the Georgetown Hospital. Joyce, beloved husband of Robert for 50 years. Loving mother of the late Grant (Patricia), Leslie (Paula) and Robert Jr. Proud grandmother of Colin and Fiona. Survived and sadly missed by her brothers Gordon of West Hill, Aberdeenshire, Alexander "Sandy" of Victoria, Australia, Colin of Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire and sister Shona of Swindon, England. Formerly of Lasalle, Ontario, Robert and Joyce moved to Georgetown 5 years ago and enjoyed their time there, as well as the many friends and connections made during that short period. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday August 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
