Ward, John H. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John H. Ward. Born in South Elmsall, England on December 22, 1939, he passed away at Georgetown Hospital on December 28, 2021 at 82 years of age. John was the beloved husband of Pat for 61 years, devoted father of Stephen and Richard, and the loved grandad of Nathaniel, Abbey and Michael. John was predeceased by his brother Alec Ward. John will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. John will be forever remembered for the love of his family and cycling. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday January 2, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. A private family service will be held in the chapel. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. In accordance with the family's wishes and Covid-19 regulations, everyone must provide proof of vaccination to attend the visitation for John.
