John O'Neill

O’NEILL, John - it is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of John O’Neill on May 31st, 2022 at the age of 83. He died peacefully in Monklands Hospital, Airdrie, Scotland. By his side and holding his hand was his loving wife Ellen of 22 years. John was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Kay) O’Neill to whom he was married to for 36 years. Loving father to their four children Sean (Joyce), Paul (Tania), Michael (Britt) and Julie. Loved Papa of Kaitlyn (Brendan), Claire, Ethan, Kieran, Ireland, Charley and Ozzie. Great Papa to baby Ember. John will be remembered and missed by all his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home on Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 11:00 am until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon. Cremation has taken place. Interment of John's cremated remains will take place immediately follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown followed by a reception in the Trafalgar Room back at Jones Funeral Home. In memory contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
