Murphy, John "Jack"- Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29th, 2014 at the Niagara Falls Hospital, with his family by his side. Jack, in his 73rd year, beloved husband of Phene for 47 years. Loving father of Bill (Carla), Colleen (John), Jacqueline and Cindy (Tim). Dear brother of Theresa, Mary, Alice, Cyril and the late Pete, Brian, Gerald, Myles, Danny and Keith. Predeceased by his parents William and Josephine. Cherished Poppy to 11 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Jack will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to the hospital staff and doctors at Niagara Falls Hospital; Sharon Ford and Cathy Brown. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
