John Mcintyre

McIntyre, John – Passed peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the Georgetown Hospital, at the age of 91 years.

Dear husband of Ramona Florence McIntyre, for 42 years of marriage. Dear father of Richard, Father-in-law of Cathy, Stepfather of Jim (Laura). Grandfather of Cody McIntyre, Isabella Jennuso, Jack Murphy, and B.J. McIntyre. John will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

John was predeceased by his late son, John McIntyre Jr, by his parents, and by his in-laws, Lee and Florence Schembri.

John was a man of many passions. In his younger years, he could be found behind the wheel, racing cars with excitement, or in the ring, trying his hand at boxing. Later in life, he enjoyed the quieter joys of golf, bowling, and spending time at the cottage, where he found peace and joy with family and friends.

John was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be held at the Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, on Monday October 6th, 2025, at 2 p.m.

In honour of John, memorial donations may be made to the Georgetown Hospital.
