John Hunter

Hunter, John Charles "Charlie" - Peacefully on Sunday September 22nd, 2013 at the Georgetown Hospital. Charlie, in his 85th year, beloved husband of Mary for 48 years. Loving father of Cindy and her husband Joe Filice, John and his wife Kim and Elizabeth Hunter. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Freida Hunter and by his son Howard. Proud grandfather of Jonathan (Jenn), Amanda (Keven), Adam, Joseph, Jenna, Cortney, Sarah, Tom, Kayla (Richard), Joshua and lunch buddy Mosley and great-grandchildren Siena, Lara, Zy and Willem. Charlie was a friend to many. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday September 24th, at 11:00am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory contributions to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
