John Desmond (Des) Hazelton
Hazelton, John Desmond (Des)- On November 27th, 2012 passed away in Georgetown, Ontario. He was in his 91st year. Much loved husband of Doreen who predeceased him in December, 2011. Father of David (Cheryl), the late John (Lana) and Frank (the late Pat). Grandfather of Kim (Dave), Corry (Bryan), Megan (Angelo) and Ocea (Colin). Great Grandfather of A.J., Marcie, Grace and Parker. Des served with the Seaforths during WWII from Italy, Belgium and Holland. On returning to Canada he began what would be a 40 year career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Des and Doreen made homes in both British Columbia and Ontario, eventually retiring to Chilliwack, B.C. At his request, Des will be remembered by his family privately. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
