John Glass

Early Saturday morning January 24th, 2015 John joined his son Elliott (2011) in the heavenly kingdom of Jesus Christ his Lord. John was 70 years old, an age he thought he'd never see when cancer hit him 12 years ago. God granted his desire to die at home in the loving care of his wife Bonnie. He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters Sarah Perkin (David) and Adriana MacLennan (Rod), and two precious granddaughters Olivia Perkin and Evangeline MacLennan. He is predeceased by his father Robert John Glass and mother Bernice Marguerite Glass (Cross). He will be sadly missed by his brother Jim Glass (Cathy), his sisters Sharon Allen (Bill) and Jennifer Glass (Ted Ives), and his nephews and nieces, Mark, Jason, Paul, Scott, Krista and Hilary.
John will be remembered as a truly unique, colourful character who was born talking and social to the bone. He was lovable, an irascible rascal, always wired and plugged in to all life had to offer. He leaves a large space in the life of his family. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Wednesday January 28th, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd.
