It is with great sadness that the family of Barry Cock announce his passing on Dec 31, 2025.

Barry was born on Sept 27, 1949 in Johannesburg, South Africa to (Wm) Rex Cock (2001) and Lillie (nee Matthews) (2024).

Barry arrived in Canada via the UK in 1954. The family settled in Georgetown, Ontario. Always a Georgetown boy, Barry remained in the area throughout his life, ultimately settling in Terra Cotta where he built the family home.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 47 years Deborah (nee Woods).

Always the proud father to Jessica (Morgan) Fullerton, (Wm) Jeffrey Cock (Nelmar) and Samantha (Antoine) Le Dore. And the Papa Bear to his grandchildren Elliot and Milo Fullerton, Scarlett and Harper Le Dore.

Barry will be dearly missed by his sister Patricia Anderson (the late Gary) Anderson and niece Summer (David) Ruppel.

Fondly remembered by dear cousins Robert and Denise Kitto (Cornwall, England), July Toland (USA) and Cathy Bullen (USA).

Husband, Dad, Papa Bear, coach, cheerleader, lacer of skates, reader of bedtime stories, animal lover and baker of Cornish pasties. A man of few words but a big heart. He will be missed beyond measure.

Cremation has taken place with private interment planned for the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the local Food Bank or Humane Society would be appreciated.
