Suddenly on Friday March 21st, 2025 at the Georgetown Hospital. Joao, at the age of 74, beloved husband of Zelia (nee Tavares). Loving father of Patrick and his wife Sonya and Lory and her husband Nelson Tavares. Proud grandfather of Brandon (Eva), Dontae, Alessia and Makayla. Dear brother of Leo and Judy Pacheco.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Monday March 31st at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
