Joan Lashley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Barbara Lashley on June 15, 2024, surrounded by her family at the Georgetown Hospital. Joan was the beloved wife of the late Aubrey Lashley and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Joan is survived by her loving children, Barbara Ann Gallagher, Wayne Lashley (Denise), and Sheree Vair (Tom). She was a cherished grandmother to Jade (Jordan) and Melanie (Aaron), and she was predeceased by her grandson Sean Gallagher. Joan's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha, Hayden, Avaline, Zoltan and Esmae.

Joan will be deeply missed by her dear brothers, Hal Lampitt and Edwin Lampitt (Maureen), who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Joan's family wishes to honor her life with a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joan's memory to a charity of your choice.

Joan's warmth, kindness, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. She will forever remain in our hearts.

Friends are welcomed to celebrate Joan's life on Sunday, July 14, 2024 in the Trafalgar Room - Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
