Joan Mary Cornfield

Joan Mary Cornfield, born on March 22, 1932 in Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the age of 91.

Joan was predeceased by her father Harold Cornfield, her mother Brenda Cornfield (née Statham), and her brother John Cornfield (Arlene). She is survived by her brother Bill Cornfield (Gwyn), her husband Jeff Davison, her three children Rosemary (Francisco), Martin (Erika), and Bruce (Rachel), and her six grandchildren, Rebecca, Ben, Sam, Cyrus, Oliver, and Simon as well as her nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank the Amica nurses, the nurses and doctors at Georgetown District Hospital, and Joan's family doctor Dr. Paul Zeni. We also thank Jennifer Larkin for her many years of care and companionship.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, (905)877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 9th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
