Butterworth, Patricia "Joan" - Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday June 23, 2022 at Extendicare Halton Hills. Joan, in her 90th year, wife of the late Noel Butterworth. Loving mother of Brad (Penny), Beverley (Greg) Nelissen, Brent (Monica) and Kerri (Trevor) Elinesky. Loved grandma of Andrea (Paul), Andrew (Ashley), Brydon (Stephanie), Amanda (Chad), Bradley (Alexandria), Adam, Curtis, Hannah, and Brooke. Loved great grandma of Liam, Nate, Jake, Miya, Aaden, Austin, Anderson, Evan and Curtis. Dear Sister of Jan (Ron) Dixon, Lynn (Tom) Oakley and John (Karen) Bradley. Joan enjoyed knitting, sewing and the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. Joan will be forever remembered for the love she had for her family. We send a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing staff at Halton Extendicare for their loving care. A celebration of life will be held in the Trafalgar Room at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Sunday July 17, 2022 from 12 noon - 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated.
