Brown, Joan (nee Brooks)- Peacefully on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the Georgetown Hospital. Joan, in her 72nd year, wife of the late Donald Brown. Loving mother of Jason and his wife Christine. Proud grandmother of Alana and Micheal. Dear sister of Rosemary (Vince) Farnsworth, Ronna Taylor, Sue (Roy) Bosch, Barry (Lorna) Brooks and the late Roy Brooks. Also predeceased by her parents Winnifred and Albert Brooks. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 23, 2013 at 10:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation.
