Joan Isabelle Aggiss

Aggiss, Joan Isabelle - Peacefully on Sunday April 5th, 2026 at the Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville. Joan (nee Horner) passed in her 94th year, loved wife of the late Frederick Aggiss. 

Loving mother of the late Jane Ann Arce Aggiss (Raul), Ruth Marya Aggiss, Katherine Elizabeth Aggiss Wilson (Craig), and Sara Joan Aggiss (Leonard).Proud grandmother of Chase, Blake (Sarah), Erica (Eric), Mia Rose (Mike), Shelby (Mory), Keenan, Calvin, and Jacob. Great-Grandmother of Bennet, Sydney, Henry, Theodore, and Nora.Joan was one of nine children. Her siblings were Ross, Floyd, Freddie, Billie, Jerry, Norah, Linda and Richard.

While raising four children Joan also spent time as a bookeeper for various law firms around Georgetown area. Joan had a sense of adventure and enjoyed travelling the world with her husband Fred. She was especially proud to be a founding member of the Halton Hills Jill's (now the Halton Hills Gymnastics Club).Cremation has taken place. 

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgetown Hospital.
