Jerry Somerton

Somerton, Gerald "Jerry" - Peacefully on December 20, 2019, in his 74th year at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga. Jerry was born in Bell Island Newfoundland but lived the better part of his life in Etobicoke. Jerry is predeceased by his parents Joe and Agnes (Peggy), his sisters Sheila, Lill, Marg, Toots, and Elaine. His brother's Myles and John and brother in law Walt. He leaves to mourn his sisters Joan, Noreen, Sylvia (Al), Ros (Tom), Jacqueline (Ron), Georgina (Gary), Debbie (Ron) and sister in law Von. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who were just like family. A special heartfelt Thank you to Dr. Satraj Basra of Trillium Hospital for his exceptional kindness, care, and compassion.
