Surrounded by loved ones, at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 43. He was the husband of Candace Kane (Mahabir) and son of Brigid Riendeau Kane and of the late Elmar J. Kane. He will be greatly missed by Candace and Brigid, his brothers and sisters, Margaret (René Savage), Hugh (Marijke Jelijs), Albert, Brideen (Michael Ryan), Alexandra (Rob Evershed), John (Orie Ando), David (Jennie Kimpel), and Matthew (Isabelle Carrier); as well as his mother- and father-in-law, Mavis and Franklyn Mahabir, and his brothers- and sisters-in law of the Mahabir family Ryan, Chad (Nerissa) and Cindy (Chico), as well as dear aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many good friends. A special thank you goes out to the staff of the Princess Margaret Hospital for their care and attention. The family will receive relatives and friends at J.S. Jones & Son funeral parlour, 11582 Trafalgar Road (N. of Maple) Georgetown, Ontario, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, on Thursday, March 13th. A Funeral Mass for Jeremiah will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown, Ontario, on Friday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church hall following the burial.In lieu of flowers, your prayers or a donation to the Friends & Family of Jeremiah Kane would be appreciated.
