Jane Caldwell

Caldwell, Jane - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Ian Anderson House, Oakville. Jane, in her 69th year, was the beloved mother of Andrea (Neil) Arsenault, and Scott Caldwell. Adoring Granny to Zoë, Emmett, and Charlie, whom she would take on many adventures, always with plenty of sweeties in their pockets. Dear sister of Gordon (Morag) King of Scotland. Jane was preceded in death by her sister Isobel. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. An independent and determined woman, her family was the most important thing in life. Jane loved her friends, and was always up to go skiing, golfing, antiquing and travelling. There was nothing better than hopping in the car to just drive, finding every country channel along the way! There was always an open door or a spare bedroom for Jane's family and friends when they passed thru, and a warm kitchen filled with her famous caramel shortbread or pavlova. She will be sorely missed by all. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Jane will be put to rest back home in Scotland. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ian Anderson House are greatly appreciated.
