Jim passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Village of Riverside Glen in Guelph at the age of 86. Loving father of Barry (Jackie), Annette Winter (Ray), John (Debbie), the late David and infant son Paul. Jim was predeceased by the mother of his children Hazel. Dear grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Jane. Survived by his brother Gordon (Jean), sister Joanne (Mack), sister-in-laws Myrtle and Lois. Predeceased by brothers John and Ken, sister Mary and brother-in-law Don. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation. In memory contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
