James Levy

Levy, James Andrew "Jim"- After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Jim passed away in his home, on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at the age of 70. Predeceased by his wife Barbara (Tost). Jim leaves behind his daughter Tania Lediard and her husband Jason; his granddaughters Brenna and Aeryn; his companion Carol Power, her children; James and Peter and her grandson Ryan. Jim will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Dorothy Goguen (Ronald), Donald Levy (Muriel), Sandra O'Blenis (Joe), Linda Reid, Gerald Levy (Eldora), Patricia Stevens, Terrance Dorion (Alfreda), Thomas Levy (Elizabeth), Deborah McDonough & Robert P. Levy, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to offer special thanks to all the friends and neighbours who helped Jim throughout his illness. Also, thank you to Dr. Farragos and the doctors and staff of Brampton/Credit Valley Hospitals. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Monday October 28, at 1:00 pm. Cremation. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion BR#197, in Acton.
