It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of James Brian Carnie (Jim) on August 14, 2023, in his 75th year. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Jack Carnie and Step Mother Marion. Predeceased by brothers Jack (Mary), William (Karen) and survived by brother Ron (Katharine).

Beloved husband for 53 years to Dian Carnie (Carson). Loving Father to Shannon (Tyler), Pattie (Bob), Tammy (Mark).

A loving Popa to 7 grandchildren Jordan, Riley, Alexandra, Bradley, Emma, Hannah, Liam and great granddaughter Isabella.

Jim took great pleasure in the simple things in life, working hard, supporting his family, his love of all things Disney and of course hockey as the #1 Toronto Maple Leafs Fan.

Jim will always be remembered for his obsession with reading his daily newspapers.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home on Monday August 21st, 2023 from 10am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11am. Refreshments will follow in the Trafalgar Room.
