Iva Waters

Waters, Iva- Iva passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Friday October 6th, 2017 at her home in Georgetown. She was the beloved wife of the late Lorne Waters (1986) and the cherished mother of Steve (Jeanette), Ginny Collins, Bob (Elaine), Mary Lou (Doug) Adams, Joanne (Dan) Brown, Randy (Christine), Sandy (Doug) Codlin, Lynne (Dean) Ward, and Mark (Tammy). Devoted grandma of 14 and great-grandma of 16. She has made a truly lasting impression on every person whose life she has touched. Her family and friends will miss her, but take great comfort that she is now at peace and with the Lord. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown) on Wednesday October 11th at 10:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
