Ida Mae Plant (nee Shier)
Peacefully, on Friday May 10th, 2013 at her home in Georgetown. Ida, 76 years of age, loving mother of Rick and his wife Christine, Glenn and his wife Yvonne, Leonard and his wife Penny, Wayne and his wife Fern, Steve and his wife Cindy, Valarie Braun and her husband Milton and Randy and his wife June. Predeceased by her son Donny. Proud and loving grandmother of 27 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alice Tilley, Lloyd Shier, Joyce Ferguson, Hilda Miller, Walter Shier and Raymond Shier. Predeceased by her sisters baby June, Evelyn, Winnie, Mildred and Doris and by her brothers Fred, Willard and Herbert.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at New Apostolic Church, 338 Johnston Drive, Burlington on Friday May 17th, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
