IAN LEWIS WATKINSON
May 5, 1937 - November 23, 2012
Peacefully in his 76th year, Ian was Promoted to Glory after a 14 month battle with brain cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Isobel; children Niven (Debbie), Helen (Craig) and Douglas (Morgan). Proud Papa of Katherine, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Jack. Brother of Derek and Brian. Ian is a legend in the world of Salvation Army banding. He will be fondly remembered for his spiritual and musical leadership, as well as the way he encouraged so many. We are grateful to the staff of Hospice Wellington (Guelph) for their care and support.
Friends will be received at the Yorkminster Salvation Army Church, 1 Lord Seaton Rd., Toronto (Yonge St & 401) on Thursday November 29th, 2012 from 6:30 - 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at the Yorkminster Salvation Army Church on Friday November 30th, 2012 at 1:30pm.
