Henny Flikkema

Flikkema, Henny - Peacefully on Sunday April 2nd, 2023 at the Shalom Manor, Grimsby. Henny, in her 86th year, loved wife of the late Albert Flikkema. Loving mother of James and his wife Charlene, Randy and his wife Kornelia and Paul and his wife Maria. Proud Oma of Julian (Amy), Nadine, Hailey (Jonah), Blake, Reka, Vienna, Emese, Isabella and Ariana and great Oma to Hannah and Lukas. Dear sister of Rita Frankruyter (Simon) (the late John Duimering), The late Ron Dykxhoorn (Tena), the late Harry Dykxhoorn (Ada) Paul Dykxhoorn (Tilly) and Ineke Namink (Frank). Mom had a love for people, she anchored herself with friends and family, always surrounding herself with love. Her faith was steadfast and inspired others to stay strong in their faith when times got tough. She had a gentle spirit even with the challenges she experienced with her health, not easy to deal with, but she always came out on top. She dealt with it with such grace. Henny had a love for travelling, camping and swimming. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Georgetown Christian Reformed Church, 11611 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown on Thursday April 6th at 11:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory contributions to the Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated.
