Varju, Hendrik - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hendrik on January 12, 2024 at Extendicare Halton Hills in Georgetown in his 87th year. Hendrik died peacefully, predeceased by his loving wife, Lucy, in 2015. His memory will be cherished by his children, Magdalena and Hendrik, his son-in-law, Mark, his daughter-in-law, Nisha, and his grandchildren, Meghan, Noah and Anka. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown (905-877-3631) on Sunday, January 21, 2024 between 2 and 4 p.m. A eulogy will be shared at 3:00 p.m. for those wishing to attend. A service will be held at the same location on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:00 am. Refreshments to be served in the Trafalgar Room, followed by interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. All are welcome.
