Helmut Gottlob Walker

Peacefully passed away on Saturday May 10, 2025 at Headwater Health Care Centre, Orangeville in his 95th year. He was predeceased by his wife Elsa, his daughter Heide and grandson Mackenzie. Helmut is survived by his daughter Monika. Proud "Opa" of Elio (Melissa), Alisa (Nolan) and Leopoldo. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Helmut was a mechanic for the OPP for many years. After his retirement he took great pride in his property, you would find him tending to his vegetable garden, which he loved. He also enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips over the years.

Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday May 24, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. The interment will take place at Belfountain Cemetery, 17025 Mississauga Rd, Belfountain, ON at 1:30 p.m.
