Heather Morton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Morton, who left us at the age of 41, on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Heather passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.  Heather was the beloved wife of Craig, and a devoted mother to their three wonderful children: Ryan, Dylan, and Rory. Her unwavering love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life.

Born to Dave and Wendy MacDonald, Heather was cherished from the moment she entered the world. Heather shared a special bond with her siblings: Bill, Pam, Tracey, and Alyssa. The love and laughter they shared will be cherished forever. She will be dearly missed by her grandparents Hugh and Bev MacDonald, her mother-in-law Fran (the late Rob Morton), her brother-in-law Chris Morton and his partner Lindsey Moore, and by her nieces and nephews; Madison, Mackenzie, Ella, Jack, Aidan, Ella and Ross.

Heather's life was enriched by the many aunts, uncles and cousins who adored her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel special and loved.  Heather's legacy of love, compassion, and strength will continue to live on through her family and friends. Her memory will forever be a guiding light for all who knew her.

A Private family funeral service will be held at Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown. Please join us in celebrating Heather's life at Best Western Plus, 7 Buena Vista Dr, Orangeville on Saturday, May 25, 2024 between 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethell Hospice or the Terry Fox Foundation in honor of Heather's generous spirit. Heather's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, Heather. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
