Russell, Hayward Thomas "Hank" - Passed away peacefully, in his sleep on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Georgetown Hospital. Hank, in his 86th year, survived by his loving wife Mary for 60 years, his children Dorothy Niven (Bruce), Cindy Crawford-White (Lary), Carol Telford, Judy Theriault (Nick) and Jamie Russell (Sue). Predeceased by his daughter Laura Miceli and his son-in-law Doug Crawford. Loved grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also, lovingly remembered as a step-grandfather. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Reception to follow at Branch #120 Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgetown Hospital-Continuing Care Unit would be appreciated.
