HARRIS, Harvey Roy
Called home to heaven too early at the age of 61, he died of complications from a heart attack, on Friday February 19, 2016. He leaves a deep void in the lives of his wife Sharon, son Paul (Julie) and baby Harvey Harris, daughter Stefanie (Brent), Violet and Vienna Ritchie. Dear son of Paul and Wanda Harris, much loved brother to Anna (Jim) Oatman, Mary (Peter) Gilbert and Evan (Kim) Harris and their families. Treasured son-in-law of Reuben (deceased) and Anne Brubacher, such a great brother-in-law to Ernie -deceased (Jean) Brubacher, Rose (Ken) Young, Marvin (Kay) Brubacher, Don (Zala) Brubacher, Nancy (David) Switzer, Dave (Judy) Brubacher and their families. Greatly missed by many friends, coworkers, hockey teammates, neighbours and church family.
Family and friends to be received at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd Georgetown, ON, Friday February 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Maple Ave Baptist Church, 177 Maple Ave Georgetown, ON, on Saturday February 27 at 11am. Private internment to follow in Ilderton, ON. Memorial donations may be made to Focus on the Family and Scripture Union.
Dad was a rock to us all, it helps knowing he is in heaven, but its hard not to wish he was still here. He was the best husband, father and papa we could've ever had and we are so glad to have the time we had before he was called home.
