Gregory Munroe

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Munroe, who left us tragically in his 59th year on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Oakville, Ontario.

Beloved son of Janet (Norm) and the late John Munroe. Proud and devoted father to Juniper. Cherished brother of Doug (Jennifer) and Krista (Brad), and loving uncle to Ben, Stephanie, and Katie. Greg will also be dearly missed by the many colleagues who became great friends over his 18 years with Flynn.

Greg’s life was defined by his devotion to his family, his generosity of spirit, and his passion for living fully. Known for his passion for his work, his thoroughness and organization, and his unwavering commitment to getting the job done wherever and whenever it was needed, Greg earned the deep respect of all who worked alongside him. An expert motorcyclist for over 40 years, Greg found freedom on the open road. He loved music, barbecuing, sharing a rum and coke (no lime), and enjoying a great glass of red wine with friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Greg’s warmth, loyalty, and humour will be remembered always by all who knew him.
