Bodnar, Gregory John (PEGGER) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gregory John Bodnar after a short courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday December 9th 2015 in his 59th year at the Georgetown District Hospital. Loving husband to Janice, beloved father to Brad (Kim) and Sarah (Lester). Proud Papa to Natalie, Julia, Abby, David and Samuel.
Survived by his parents Ernie and Dorothy Bodnar, his Best Friend and twin brother Grant, sister Laura and brother Glen. Greg will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended Bodnar and Finnamore families. Greg enjoyed a successful 39 year career with the City of Mississauga. Greg was very well respected and will be sadly missed by his fellow coworkers. Greg was an avid sportsman who loved hockey, golf,curling and his two most favourite sports teams The Leafs and Tigercats. Greg's greatest love was his family. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday December 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
