Shoebridge, Gordon - Suddenly on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at his home in Georgetown. Gord, in his 86th year, loved husband of the late Edith Wylie. Loved father of Gord and his wife Mary, Glenn and his wife Cathy, the late David and his wife Nora and the late Trudy and her husband Wayne Monte. Proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Donald Shoebridge and Doreen Davies. Predeceased by brother's Bob and Clarence Shoebridge. Gord was a long time member of the Georgetown Anglers & Hunters. Family, friends and the great outdoors were always a very important part of Gord's life. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday March 11 at 11:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
