Gordon Battaglia

Battaglia, Gordon- Peacefully at home on Monday, May 18, 2015. Gordon, in his 87th year, loved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Douglas (Marilyn), Christopher, Joseph (Cheryse), Anne-Marie (Mark), Kathy Parker, Tony (Kim) and Tracey LaFleur. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Gordon enjoyed a 38 year career with Air Canada and after retirement continued on at Lionhead Golf and Country Club. Gord was recognized as the longest serving volunteer, enjoying over 60 years of service with the Canadian International Air Show. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Saturday, May 23rd from 11:00 am until time of funeral service held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow at Lionhead Golf and Country Club (8525 Mississauga Rd., Brampton) at 2:30 pm. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto on Monday, May 25th at 1:00 pm.
