Carter, A. Glenn - Passed suddenly at home, on Wednesday March 27th, 2019. Glenn, in his 64th year, beloved husband of Peggy (nee Fitzgerald). Loving father of Danielle. Cherished brother of Judy Carter. Predeceased by his parents John and Marguerite Carter. Survived by his father in law Edmund Fitzgerald. Fondly remembered by nephews Chris and Larry and niece Christine and their families. Glenn was enjoying retirement from Air Canada after a long career as an aircraft mechanic. Glenn loved the outdoors, animals, woodworking and was especially fond of the last years spent building his cabin on Home Pond, NL with his friends Bryan Mitchell and Denis Lannon. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m.  Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday April 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In memory contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Diabetes Association or the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.
