Gino Colavecchia

Colavecchia, Gino Joseph - Passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Elaine for 26 years, Gino was the proud father of Kaila and Angelo. Loving son of Angelo and the late Incoronata Colavecchia; dearest brother of Bruno Colavecchia and Pina (Ron Ballantyne). Gino will be missed by his mother in law Elizabeth Clement, and his brothers in law Alan Skippen and Douglas (Debbie) Skippen. Dear Zio of Cara, Francesca and Roberto Colavecchia and Darcy Skippen. Cherished forever by his special Zia Vincenza Berardi. Friends will be received at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631, on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 8530 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton at 10:00 a.m. Cremation. Community meant a lot to Gino therefore the family has requested donations in his memory be directed to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation, Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills, the Georgetown Minor Hockey Association or the North Halton Girls Hockey Association (Twisters).
