Vos, George Jacob

January 24, 1936 – February 8, 2026

George passed away and was taken to Glory at his home in Riverside Glen, Guelph. George was surrounded by his children and many grandchildren at the time of his passing. He was predeceased by his wife Corry, who passed away in 2019. He is survived by his children Janet (Bert) Sinkgraven, Jack (Diana) Vos and Stephen (Barb) Vos. Special “Opa” to Heather (Chris), Mark (Sarah), Charlene (Dave), Meagan (Travis), Colin (Alyssa), Matthew (Sarah), Elaine (Mike), Bryan (Tiffany), Derek (Zoe) and Jacob (Amber). Special “Great Opa” to Arielle, Carter, Eli, Ava, Jackson, Jubilee, Summer, Sadie, Indiana, Landon, Dustin, Elly, Bryson, Emma, Aubrey, Isla, Frankie, Georgie, Theo and Sunny. George was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Margaret, sister Elly and grandson George.

George will be sadly missed.

Family will receive friends at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 365 Queen Street East, Acton on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church. A private family interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery prior to the funeral service.
