Faria (George) Stanley - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa & Great-Grandpa.

Stanley, in his 81st year peacefully passed away on Sunday January 21st,2024 with his family by his side.

Born on April 30th,1943 he is survived by his wife Sophie of 45 years. Family meant everything to Stanley. Leaving to mourn are his kids Peter (late Kim Faria) of Georgetown, John (Michelle) of Georgetown, Andrew (Nella) of Barrie, Sharlyn (Jamie) of Woodstock and Stephanie (Rick) of Toronto. Loving Grandpa & Appa to Zachary, Jessica, Brooklyn, Eryn, Noelani, Aiden, Quinten and many fur babies. Adoring Great-Grandpa to Emmalyn and Elijah.

Stanley will be deeply missed by his brothers and their wives along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He has now been reunited with his brother Tony, sister Theresa, mom and dad.

Stan the Man, life won't be the same without you in it. You will always be our Daddy Big Boots.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Saturday February 3rd, 2024 from 9 - 11 am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place.
