George Cozens

On Saturday January 7th, George Edward Cozens passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

George was born in 1936 in London England, he was a proud member of the British Army and worked as a tool and die maker before moving to Canada with his wife and 2 children in the 60s. He opened his own business, Cozens Machine and Tool in Georgetown where he lived for over 50 years. He enjoyed being a member of the Masonic Lodge and was honored as Grand Master in 1996.

Loving husband of 63 years to Molly Cozens (nee Rogan) who he met on his motorbike in England, father to Chris (Denise) and Anne (Dave), grandfather to Kori (Dan), Connor, Eric, Beth and Aidan and great grandfather to Joshua, Faith and Riley. He will be missed by his family, especially his siblings Roy (Angela) and Deanna (Bill).

There will be a celebration of life held at the family’s home at 11 Sergio Court, on Saturday January 21st.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society will be appreciated by the family.
