George Burnett

Burnett, George Alexander - Peacefully, Saturday April 1, 2023 at his home in Georgetown. George, in his 87th year, beloved husband of Diana for 58 years. Loving father of Laurie Moore and Paula Burnett. Loved grandpa of Amanda, Andrea, David, Donald and great grandpa of Zakk, Zoee, Jaiden, Abigayle, Alexander, Scarlett Caspian and Spencer. Predeceased by his granddaughter Ashley and sister Moira Davies. George was very loving, kind, loyal and supportive person. George enjoyed building model planes and cars. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
