Beaton, George William- Peacefully, in the presence of his family, on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. George, in his 78th year, beloved husband of Lorraine for 50 years. Dear brother of Bett and Alistar. Loving father of Bob (Lyn), Claudia, Dale (John) Rick, (Martina) John, the late Georgie, T.J. and Jane (Albert). He will be sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville. In memory, contributions to the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton or Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills would be appreciated.
