Frederick Robert Marks

Peacefully, at the Georgetown Hospital, surrounded by his family on Wednesday February 21st, 2018. Fred, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Madeleine (nee Bodnar). Loved father of Bob, Dean (Debbie) and Lori. Proud grandfather of Zachary, Abigail, Adam, Liam, Evan and Ryan. Dear brother of Ken and his wife Joyce. Predeceased by his brothers Walter and Doug, dear brother-in-law of Kay, Barb and Steve. Fondly remembered by Greg Lawrence and many nieces and nephews. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather and his sense of humor and his infectious laugh made him a friend to all. He was an active community man volunteering his time with Holy Cross Church and a volunteer driver with Cancer Assistance Services. Special thanks to the staff at the Bennett Health Care Centre for the kind and compassionate care he received. Also thanks to Dr. Farragos and the Emergency Room staff at the Georgetown Hospital. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church 14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown, on Tuesday February 27th at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
