Wilson, Francis “Frank” McCullough-

Peacefully on August 29, 2025 at Wellington Hospice, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of (late) Elizabeth Wilson, and father to (late) Sharon, Thomas and his wife Sandra, Bob, Brenda and her husband Mike. Grandpa of Kyle, Sarah, Kevin and (late) Amanda. Great Grandpa of Lizzy (Elizabeth) and Lincoln. Brother of (late) George Wilson and Bernice Williams. Brother-in-law of Ethel, Duncan, Margaret, George, Dyllis, Marnie and (late) Dave.

Frank will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family, the Hillcrest United Church community, the farm community, and friends.

Frank was a fifth-generation farmer in Halton Hills, and a trustee and active member of Hillcrest United Church for many years. He grew up in Ashgrove and was active in the community, participating in 4-H, Norval Junior Farmers hockey, Halton Junior Farmers square dancing, and later Pine Valley Squares. Frank was an avid euchre player, a loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and volunteered at Georgetown Fall Fair for several years.

We will love you and miss you forever Dad, but we take comfort in knowing you’re once again with Mom, in time for your 66th wedding anniversary on September 26th.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Georgetown District Hospital, the Townsend-Smith North Halton Hospice, or to Cancer Assistance Halton Hills, would be appreciated.

Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home on Sunday September 7th at 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday September 8th at 11am.  After a light lunch, Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
