Frank Lubertus Nunes Vas

Nunes Vas, Frank Lubertus (December 18, 1938 - July 26, 2016)- Passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 26th, 2016, in his 77th year, at Tullamore Nursing Home, Brampton. Frank will be sadly and forever missed by his wife Francine (nee DeMelo). He leaves behind his 2 children; daughter Connie and 2 grandchildren Victoria and David of Vancouver and son Rob (Jackie) and grandchild Dakota of Vancouver. He also leaves behind his brother Evert (Henriet) from Holland, sister-in-law Herminia (John) of Georgetown and brother-in-law Louis (Danielle) of Sorel, PQ. Predeceased by his parents Izaak and Ali Nunes Vas from Holland. Frank will be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends who knew him. Frank worked at Cooper Standard for 43 years when he retired, and enjoyed his retirement doing things that he loved. Frank enjoyed soccer, baseball, curling, loved going on long walks, going to the beach and spending time with his wife Francine. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Saturday September 3rd, 2016 from 1:00 pm until time of celebration of life held in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
