Frank Ferkul

With profound sadness, we announce that Frank Ferkul, 75, passed away peacefully in his Georgetown home on May 15, 2024 from complications related to leukemia. Despite his health issues, he remained in good spirits until the end, which is a testament to his strength and courage.

Frank leaves behind his three children: Vanessa, Amanda (Fabio) and Daniel; four grandchildren: Matthew, Isabella, Ryan and Gabriel; sister, Anne; niece, Natasha, and nephew, Aleksander; aunt (“Teta”), Cirila, as well as former spouse and close friend, Cveti (Bill).

He was predeceased by his father, Franc, and mother, Marija.

Frank will be missed and fondly remembered by friends and family for his outgoing personality and love of music, sweets, sports collectibles, and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

A private family ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held, in lieu of a service. Frank will be cremated, and his remains will be laid to rest at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd., Mississauga ON L5T 1N4.
