Frances "Fran" Barbara Trowbridge

Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Georgetown Hospital at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husbands Doug Dauphinee (1992) and Ivor Trowbridge (2004). Loving mother of Michael Dauphinee (Linda), Richard Dauphinee (Donelda) and Janice Dauphinee (Ron). Proud grandmother to Morgan, RD (Nicole), Jesse, Cody and great grandmother of Hattie. Fran will be missed by the Trowbridge family.

Fran worked as a teacher for 32 years with the Peel school board. She will be remembered by all that knew her for her strong faith and love of community. She will be dearly missed by her church family at St. Andrew’s United Church.

The family would like to thank Edgewater Senior Living for welcoming and taking care of Fran, also the nursing staff at the Georgetown Hospital for their care and compassion.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. and 10 -11 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11 a.m.

Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.
