Peacefully, on Monday July 10, 2023 at the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay. Florence, formerly of Georgetown, in her 87th year, wife of the late Alfred Chalmers (1991). Loving mother of Ron (Shelley) Brooks, Les (Lynn) Chalmers, Lee (Shelley) Chalmers and Kevin Chalmers. Loved grandma of Tara, Steven (Aly) and Emma (Kyle). Loved great grandma of Hannah, and Gavin. Dear sister of Shirley Reed, Beverley Reed and Virginia Bateman. Predeceased by her brother Lewis Reed and her sister Dorothy Reed. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Florence enjoyed quilting, playing cards, listening to music and being with her family.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday July 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Mono Mills.
